Product opportunities are being generated from our core technology. Initially, we are relying on our GlycoPEGylation technology, but other applications are emerging from our core technology that have the potential to contribute to the growth of the company.
GlycoPEGylation may enable the development of new and improved therapeutic proteins. Certain patent claims on many of the first generation of biotechnology drugs are coming to an end. Using GlycoPEGylation, we are developing improved, next-generation versions of several of these drugs, including granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) and Coagulation Factors VIIa, VIII and IX.
